We emphasize the
Finished Work of Jesus Christ because
this message is such an integral part of the
Bible message. Jesus didn’t say that the
work was “almost finished” when
He paid the price for man’s sin on the
cross. “It is finished” was the
culmination of His earthly life and ministry,
but it is the starting place for each of us.
We begin this new life by resting in His work
(Ephesians 2:8 & Romans 4:5), and we are
to walk forward in the same way (Colossians
2:6). I am just as redeemed today as I was the
moment I first trusted in Him. My failures cannot
erase the Finished Work. Hallelujah!
